gadi threw many stones at the driving before me but i took a window down.

not a long time after that happened i almost burned down a kindergarden next to my home where i spent most of my time.

I remeber being bigger than anyone else buy i never knew how much bigger until i was the movies i was like 0 cm higher than the other kids.

i used to live in my imaginary world.

i was happy at times but not always.

i was closed to others.

Close mean bad.

but being open to others is not an thing which easily comes by it takes hard work and attidue.

the other years were pretty much the same.

until the guide course i took.

i was aimed to guid litte children

it had great effect on me.

I WAS INVINCABLE.

though still closed.

I can remeber the black haired girl who i met.

she was amazing

Have you ever read one of Gwen Harwoods poems? On what level did her unique or maybe uncomfortably explicit method of writing reach you? Gwen Harwood is a poet that affects people on an emotional, intellectual and sensory level. She is able to do this because she has a deep understanding of human nature. It is this rare technique that Harwood uses in her poems that has made her so memorable and distinctive. Her poems Father and child and Prize giving are perfect examples of ho Harwood deeply affects her audience on different levels. In Father and child Harwood uses the theme of a child learning about cruelty with devastatingly graphic imagery which the reader will never forget. With Prize Giving she satirizes arrogant, pompous and superior behavior in such a way that the audience gains a new perspective on human behavior. In these poems Harwood reaches the audience in more then one level through her deep understanding of human behavior.

Harwoods poem Barn owl is one of the most disturbing poems that I have, and will most likely ever read. With the disgusting visual imagery in "this obscene bundle of stuff that dropped and dribbled through loose straw tangling in bowels" the poet reaches the audience on a sensory and emotional level. Harwood manipulates the audience to feel sympathy for the owl because of its innocence and the child because of her naivety. At the same time the audience feels anger towards the child for her destruction of the innocent owl. The poet's use of the metaphor "I saw those eyes that did not see mirror my cruelty" emphasises her guilt at her discovery of the results of her power need. These words reach the audience on an intellectual level as they can view the situation from the child's perspective and relate to her emotions and reactions. The audience thinks back to when they first discovered the concept of cruelty as they sympathize with the child.

In Prize Giving Harwood juxtaposes reason and intuitive artistry. Eisenbart, the intellectually conceeted scientist, is humbles by the panash of the school girls rendition od a work for the piano by motzart. The reversal of the relative positions is encapsulated in the professors image mirrored upside down on the schoolgirls trophy. Through her characterization of "rudely declined" and "scowled with violent distaste" Harwood reaches her audience on a sensory level as they recognize the personality of Eisenbart. Through his

The Ottoman Empire was one of the greastest dynasties in the world. It was also the longest lasting empire in the world. It lasted 64 years, from 181 to 14. The Ottoman Empire had many great leaders and also had some leaders who led to the fall of the empire.

The founder of the Ottoman Empire was Osman Gazi (also known as Osman Khan or Osman Bey). He came from a great line of leaders who had led the Kayi Tribe, which is a famous Turkish tribe. When Osman Gazi's father died he was elected leader. He later got large tracts of land from the Byzantine Empire. When he got this land he was faced by an alliance by the Byzantine Emperors of Brusa and Nice and Yarhisar and Karadjahisar. Seeing this, he declared the Ottoman Empire to war. During the war, he attacked Nice and Karadjahisar.

The Ottoman state began as one of many small Turkish states that emerged in Asia Minor during the breakdown of the empire of the Seljuk Turks. In 1, Osamn Gazi declared independence of the Ottoman Empire. By doing this, he appointed wardens, judges and magistrates to take charge of strong points. In 16, Bursa was captured and later became the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Osman Gazi later died that year. Ar Khan became leader now. During his reign nothing really happened.

About 5 years later in 161, the city of Edirne was captured. This also became a capital of the empire under the rule of Murad Awwal. At this time, the Ottomans began to build mosques, schools and made Ottoman money. Close to the end of the fourteenth century, the Ottomans had constant battles. These battles were with Kosovo and Nikopol, which were both won by the Ottomans. By winning these battles, the Ottomans got a lot of land and large parts of the Balkan Peninsula became under Ottoman rule.

In 10, Bayezid became leader of the empire. Bayezid was trying to conquer all the lands of Europe. He began by beginning a siege in Istanbul but the Samarkand ruler, Amir Timour, forced him down. In 1400, Bayezid renewed the siege but the invasion by Timour caused him back down once again. Two years later, Bayezid gathered his forces and attacked Angora but once again he was stopped by Timour and taken prisoner and died while in captivity in 140.

Muhammad Fatih reigned from 14511481. He recaptured a lot of land that Timour had taken away from the Ottomans when Bayezid was ruler. He also strengthened the navy, who Poland and Italy, which led to the capture of Constantinople. During his reign the empire expanded greatly and became much stronger. Fatih later died on his way to Egypt to do battle.

Fatih's son, Bayezid II succeeded him after his death.

The primary goal of this research is to simulate and analyze the performance of real world network equipment, like edge and core routers, in Internet Protocol (IP) networks.

In order to analyze the performance, we have to collect specific information about packet losses, throughput, latency, jitter and application performance ( like VoIP ) for routed IP traffic through the examined system by forwarding traffic on all interfaces and measuring the results.

We'll define a set of test parameters, like Network size ( number of simulated nodes ), Routing Table Size, Routing Protocol, Packet Size, Burst size ( number of packets), Packet Rate, QoS and others.

Our particular interest are performance and QoS measurements of network devices because

they contribute the major impact on general core and edge network performance and affect multimedia and other performance sensitive traffic.

We intend to build a network testbed comprised of number of IP edge and core devices (switches and routers ) and Spirents SmartBits and Adtech AX/4000 generator/analyzers, which are in compliance with RFC 544 for measuring and analyzing throughput and

packet delay as the main parameters for measuring forwarding performance and quality of service in multimedia applications.

We'll use the same testbed for simulating of complex IP network with number of routing protocols in conjunction with real network equipment in order to conduct performance test for different types of traffic patterns ( packet size and rate, bursts, etc ) and investigate a correlation between traffic patterns and network performance.

We intend to run a number routing simulation in order to conduct which of routing protocols is more robust and suitable for particular type of network topology and traffic patterns. We consider the following types of tests Baseline IP performance, OSPF routing capacity, IS-IS routing capacity, BGP routing capacity, QOS enforcement (includes IP multicast handling).

Definition Essay

Hypertension

It is the time of progress. The time of supercomputers, space shuttles, and many other marvels of technology. We have walked on the moon. We do our shopping at home via Internet navigation. We cannot only talk with, but we can see the person we are talking to thousands of miles away. It is mankind's greatest hour. Yet sadly, it is also our time of dying. It's strange that no matter how advanced our society has become, our nations health will not catch up. Hypertension a cardiovascular disease and often referred to as high blood pressure is referred to as America's silent killer. This essay will define, state the risk, and provide information on how hypertension is treated.

Blood pressure is measured by testing the force needed to stop blood from flowing through the arteries away from the heart. When a blood pressure test is performed, a test will yield two numbers. The first number is known as the systolic which measures the pressure when the heart beats. The second number is known as the diastolic which measures the pressure between heartbeats when the heart is at rest. If the numbers are greater than 140/0, it is considered hypertension.

High blood pressure has no recognizable symptoms and the cause is unknown. If left untreated hypertension can damage important organs of the body the heart, brain kidneys, and eyes. When blood pressure remains abnormally high for a long time, usually years, the increased force against the walls of the arteries causes them to become thicker and crooked, decreasing the flow of blood to the heart, brain, kidneys, and eyes.

Everyone is liable to developing high blood pressure but some are at more risk than others. People with a history of hypertension in their family, obesity, frequent alcohol consumption, high cholesterol intake, diabetes, and smokers are all susceptible to developing high blood pressure. Stress is also known as a contributor to developing hypertension. It is estimated that one-quarter of Americans are living with high blood pressure.

Living with hypertension is not the end of the world. There are many ways to control hypertension. In serious cases, your doctor may prescribe medication, but in other cases the doctor may recommend lifestyle changes. Recommendations may include one or all four of the changes exercise regularly, eat healthy, control alcohol intake, or stop smoking. Choice of treatment depends on a person's age, race, and medical history. If left untreated, it can be fatal.

In conclusion, many factors contribute to developing high blood pressure. Symptoms aren't recognizable and it often goes unnoticed. It is advised to get your blood pressure checked regularly if you are at risk. Medical experts are constantly developing new treatments and information is readily available. Controlling hypertension first starts with the patient because it can add years to your life.

Art is an extremely powerful tool when communicating society's important social or political issues. Using text and signs can further emphasise the importance of an issue or contradict the issue completely, creating an artwork that reads with multiple layers of meaning and references.

Artists, Jenny Holtzer, Jenny Watson and Barbara Kruger explore the study of signs systems throughout their art works to create pieces of social and political masterpieces. Due to their use of signifiers representing real, everyday objects the relationship between the viewer or ‘reader' and the artwork becomes increasingly complex and strong through the use of sign systems embedded deeply into their artwork.

Jenny Holtzer artwork is words, phrases and sentences, which is displayed as public art and not intended for a gallery. Her art is focused on communicating messages to the broadest audience achievable. From New York, Holtzer painted in an abstract style until graduating in 177. Widely read and informed, Holtzer's was major influence was by Dada artists as she believed they were bizarre yet accepted their political point. Being widely read by a range of political leaders and writers, Holter's ideas for art came from these readings. Holtzer felt as if her paintings were not having the impact on the public as she hoped or intended. She felt as if her moral, social and political issues needed to be addressed. Holtzer wanted her audience to be mindful of the social and environmental issues ablaze that tackle us in modern life.

Aware of the power of media, Holtzer noticed that her messages weren't powerful enough and being keenly interested in the control of words. Replacing painting with words and lettering created a political and aesthetic sense. Holtzer was writing down her words and sending them around the world.

" I was drawn to writing because it was possible to be very explicit about things. If you have crucial issues, burning issues, it's good to say exactly what's right and wrong about them, and perhaps to show a way that things could be helped. So, it seemed to make sense to write because then you can just say it … No painting seemed perfect. In particular, I didn't want to be a narrative painter, which maybe would have been one solution for someone wanting to be explicit."

Holtzer has produced words and text in groups as series. One piece in particular, which is part of ‘Truism', which explores myths that Holter. Truism also highlights the gruelling persona and social concerns of contemporary. These messages are often contradictory and disturbing in their duality of truth and reality, highlighting the inherent dangers of modern living.

For years New Zealand has been clean, green and nuclear free. The nuclear free issues of New Zealand interested me and brought me to wondering Why did New Zealand become nuclear free, What are New Zealand's laws towards being nuclear free and when where they put place and What devastation can nuclear weapons cause???

Not since the dawn of the nuclear age at the end of World War ll has the danger of nuclear war been greater said Richard Falk, professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University and David Krieger, president of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, issued in a statement on April ,000 (www.wagingpeace.org) Many experts on nuclear issues and war probabilities share this view. The famous activist and author on nuclear issues, Dr Helen Caldicott, said the nuclear war risk is greater than at any time in the three decades she has been studying the issue.

Thus there is more reason than ever to put in place a nuclear-free law for New Zealands. It is a way of saying that we dont approve of nuclear weapons and war plans.

The 187 law bans nuclear warships and nuclear weapons from New Zealand territory and ports. The policy was implemented in 184. With the election of the Lange Labour government. It bans New Zealand forces from working with nuclear-weapon-equipped forces. National became nuclear-free in 10. The Greens, Alliance, New Zealand First, and United - everyone except the dinosaurs agree that we should Keep NZ Nuclear-Free.

The devastation to Hiroshima was thought to be short term, sure it was totally demolished but no one had ever counted on it being contaminated for years by hi radiation levels. Hiroshima residents, including physicians specializing in treatment of the radiation exposed, have visited the contaminated disaster sites around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine and Semipalatinsk in Kazakhstan, the former Soviet Unions nuclear testing site. These groups are developing ties with affected people through medical treatment and other forms of support.

After learning about some of the after effects of nuclear activities and discovering how high the risk of nuclear war really is these days I have decided that it is good for our little country to make a stand for the environment and a to acknowledge that others need to clean up their act.

Please note that this sample paper on Why did New Zealand Become Nuclear free is for your review only. In order to eliminate any of the plagiarism issues, it is highly recommended that you do not use it for you own writing purposes. In case you experience difficulties with writing a well structured and accurately composed paper on Why did New Zealand Become Nuclear free, we are here to assist you.
