India of the future

India is a country of vast resources. The future India of my dreams will be self sufficient in every single way possible.

It will be a peace loving country. But at the same time it will not allow itself to be taken advantage of. It will be a permanent member of the UN Security Council due to the need for an unbiased member, which is not linked with any superpower. It will be able to manufacture its own missiles completely (not with any intention of using them except for extreme measures).

Indigenous industries and small-scale industries will come up and flourish. The population will come down and the unemployment problem will be dealt with more effectively than at present. The percentage of people below the poverty line will come down and the standard of living will improve.

The political condition will improve. The corruption will come down at all levels. The tension at the border with Pakistan will come to an end and they will be united and called Hindustan. The politicians will stop fighting one another and instead will start working together.

The linking of rivers of North and South India will solve the water scarcity problem of the South. Further water recycling plants will be built just of the coast so that the seawater could be reused. This will further reduce our water problems.

The standard of education will improve in our country. The dream of primary education for all will be attained. We will manage to attain a very high percentage of literacy.

India will become a highly developed nation. It will become one of the top manufacturing countries in the world. The quality of goods produced will be high. Our goods will flood the markets world over. Our exports will increase and our imports will decrease and our balance of trade will become better than that of Japan's. We will continue to concentrate on agriculture and as mentioned before all the small-scale industries.

Tolerance towards all religions will bring amity, peace and feeling of oneness to the people of India. All the communal riots will stop. A new form of casteless society will be formed. India will become a pioneer in the field of secularism. Many nations will adopt secularism in an effort to avoid discrimination.

India will give rise to many world leaders and good sportsmen. Indians will compete in a better fashion and will have the same competitive edge that the Aussies have.

Finally India will be a great nation in the future, one that plays an important role in determining global policies and trends. It will remain neutral in spite of its great influence.
